In continuation of the series of periodic meetings set by the governor of the state, a working meeting was held on Wednesday evening in the state of Blida, the governor of the state, Ahmed Maabed, and the representatives of the state in parliament.
The meeting was an occasion to raise the concerns of citizens and propose solutions to some problems that are directly related to the citizen, in implementation of the commitments of the President of the Republic to lay the foundations for a participatory approach.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the State, the Inspector General of the State, the Chief of Staff, directors of the Executive Council of the State, directors of bureaus, agencies, funds and public institutions.
At the outset of the meeting, the governor of the state renewed his full readiness to cooperate with the representatives of the people and stressed his keenness to dedicate periodic meetings to intensify coordination between the executive body and parliamentarians as an ideal way to achieve harmony and cooperation between them to raise the concerns of citizens and rectify all the shortcomings recorded to advance local development in the state.
The agenda of the meeting revolved around presenting and discussing various developmental files for the state in many sectors such as youth and sports, health, housing, post and transportation, education, water resources, public works…. The freeze on many projects was lifted, as well as the various concerns of citizens by the deputies. The response to all the concerns of the deputies by the directors of the Executive Council and the provision of necessary clarifications.
The governor affirmed his work within a comprehensive local development strategy that affects each sector separately, during which the development priorities of the state are determined by raising and studying the concerns of citizens, drawing a road map and defining financial envelopes through various financing formulas that enable the achievement of the set goals within the specified deadlines to advance development in the state.
The meeting continued until the late hours of the day, during which the Governor affirmed his keenness to accompany and listen to all the citizens’ concerns raised by all his representatives without exception, and to carry out field trips to closely monitor the removal of obstacles to advance the development of the state, meet the needs of citizens and improve their living conditions.
