Ammar Blani, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, received, on Monday, Sweden’s Ambassador to Algeria, Bjorn Hajmark.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides reviewed the friendly relations of friendship between the two countries and reaffirmed the joint commitment to revitalizing and expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest, including digitization, economy and scientific research.
It was also to emphasize in particular the interest in holding the third session of the Algerian-Swedish political consultations as soon as possible.
The two sides discussed preparations for holding the twentieth meeting of foreign ministers of Africa and North European countries, which is scheduled to be held in Algiers in October 2023.
This meeting finally made it possible to discuss regional and common interests and define a rapprochement in the positions of the two countries based on respect for international law.
