The Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Youssef Belmehdi, alerted the members of the religious guidance mission in Hajj to the weight of the task entrusted to them, especially with the increase in the number of Algerian pilgrims during this season 1444/2023.

Youssef Belmehdi inaugurated this morning, Monday, in the Imam’s House in Muhammadiyah, the Religious Guidance Forum in Hajj, for the guides of the Algerian Hajj mission, during which he stressed that the task of delivering the pilgrims to Arafat, watering them and guiding them is “a great task and trust related to the neck of each one of them, and he will ask about this trust and this task with God if A pilgrim complained that he wanted to go on pilgrimage and obtain credit, but he was not helped by an imam, guide or guide, stressing that people are eager to circumambulate the ancient house from a sermon they listened to or the interventions explaining the rituals of Hajj.

Belmehdi said that the Algerian Hajj mission will supervise 42,300 pilgrims, which is the number that increases annually. The guide may introduce himself to the pilgrims, pointing out that confusion will not make it possible to identify the guide without the latter approaching the pilgrims from the first moments before the plane takes off to the holy sites.
