Belaribi: Raising the minimum wage to benefit from “Social” is currently out of the question – New Algeria

Confirm Minister of Housing and Urbanism The mayor, Mohamed Tariq Belaribi, said that the proposal to raise the maximum family income set at 24,000 Algerian dinars is not possible at the present time, but this proposal could be studied in the future according to economic and social variables.

In response to a written parliamentary correspondence, the Minister affirmed, “His ministerial department is seeking to implement housing in various forms that are compatible with the social and material conditions of each segment of society, where it can be said that Public rental housing “As a housing formula fully funded from the state budget, it is directed to people who are classified within the needy and deprived social groups who do not have housing or live in inappropriate housing.”

The Minister stated that setting the maximum salary at 24,000 DZD for obtaining public rental housing falls within the framework of the policy pursued by the state and to achieve this endeavor, the social status of low-income housing seekers was taken into account in accordance with the provisions of Executive Decree No. 08-142 dated May 11, 2008, which specifies the rules for granting public rental housing. As for other categories, they can, of course, go to various other programmed and specialized housing formulas according to specific salary levels, as many formulas have been made available to enable other categories to obtain either subsidized auxiliary housing or housing in the form of sale for rent or Rural housing Or self-construction within the framework of social divisions, with financial aid from the state.
