Belaribi officially announces the launch of the modernization of the Algerian anti-earthquake system RPA in 2023 – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Housing Minister Tarek Belaribi affirmed that the new Algeria is waging a battle with will and steadfastness for the sake of a decent life for the citizen, during his intervention at the International Forum on the Prevention of the Risk of Earthquakes held at the Palais des Congrès in Algiers. At the outset, he referred to international reports indicating that 66 percent of the world’s population will live in urban areas.

The minister explained that Algeria pursues a modern vision in developing scientific research and building capacities to combat natural disasters. It has strengthened the arsenal of laws, identified the major risks of earthquakes. He also officially announced the launch of the Algerian anti-earthquake system in 2023.

By the way, the Minister of Housing confirmed that Algeria distributed 920,000 housing units despite the Corona pandemic.
