Yesterday evening, Sunday, the Minister of National Education, Abdelhakim Belabed, chaired a national symposium from the ministry’s headquarters in Mouradiya, via visual lecture technology, attended by executives from the central administration and education directors, devoted to following up on preparations for the winter, and the extent of the readiness of heating methods according to the directives given in Previous video webinars since March 2023.
In this regard, a permanent device was installed to monitor the provision of heating at the level of all educational institutions in real time, and to ensure that deficiencies, if any, are addressed with the required speed, stressing that educational institutions will not be allowed to exist without heating. In the same context, and to prevent the dangers of monocarbon gas and misuse of devices, the Minister ordered the organization of awareness-raising media campaigns at the school level, in coordination with Civil Protection.
Al-Sayyed also touched on school nutrition and transportation, stressing the need to take all measures and intensify communication with all stakeholders and activate their role in order to ensure the provision of hot meals and the continuity of school transportation.
In conclusion, the Minister touched on the topics of the in-person national symposium that will be held at the end of October, stressing the preparation of the situations and data related to it.
