Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, confirmed that the President of the Republic’s program is keen to ensure education for all segments of society.
Badari said in a speech he delivered today, Monday, on the occasion of the International Day of Sign Languages at the Higher School for Teachers of the Deaf and Dumb, that this school symbolizes justice and equality in the field of education for all.
The minister added that supporting the category of people with special needs in the field of higher education and scientific research will contribute to enriching society with all its institutions.
On the occasion, the Minister inaugurated an intensive language center, in which six (6) foreign languages are taught in sign language. The signal was also given for the launch of the awareness-raising convoy to teach sign languages, which will tour the capital and the various colleges and schools affiliated with the university city of Algiers, for the sake of education and education for all.
