The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, met this evening, Tuesday, at the Ministry’s headquarters, the elite of Algeria, Dr. Mohamed Senussi, Research Professor, Southern Denmark University, and Dr. Riyad Baghdadi, Research Professor at New York University Abu Dhabi and Dr. Marwan Dabbah, Research Professor, Technology Innovation Institute, UAE.
The minister welcomed the elite professors, assuring them of the keenness that the country’s leadership attaches to the elites at home and abroad.
The minister started talking about the state’s efforts in the field of artificial intelligence and mathematics through the establishment of the schools of mathematics and artificial intelligence, as well as the digitization of the sector by setting a master plan for digitization.
The meeting focused on the Scientific Council for Artificial Intelligence, the contributions of our elites abroad, and considering them an essential and important part, being the elite of the elite, and the country relies on them a lot, to develop artificial intelligence in Algeria and several fields.
The research professors expressed their full willingness to contribute effectively to the Scientific Council of Artificial Intelligence, which will give them, along with Algerian elites abroad, the opportunity to work and develop an effective strategy, in line with national priorities, to achieve a qualitative leap in several fields.
