Ataf receives the African Union Commissioner for Education, Science, Technology and Innovation – Al-Hiwar Algeria

On this occasion, the two parties reviewed the cooperation relations between Algeria and the African Union in the field of embodying the goals of the continental Agenda 2063, especially in its aspect related to education, which will constitute the main topic of the next session of the Summit of African Heads of State and Government, given its special importance and its primary role in enabling African countries to enhance their path towards achieving sustainable development.

The meeting also constituted an opportunity to highlight and stress in particular the need to rearrange the priorities of the continental organization in accordance with the aspirations and aspirations of African countries and peoples at the current stage, and to seek to achieve them by relying on African resources and capabilities, in order to preserve the independence of the collective political decision of African countries and to ward off external interference in the affairs of the continental organization.
