In its latest issue, the Army magazine confirmed that attempts to promote manifestations of extremism will “inevitably fail,” noting that Algerians “will not be stung twice, and our people will not be deceived again, given that they have become more aware of the intentions of adventurers.”

In its editorial in its latest May issue, under the title “The Algerian people are not stung twice by a stone” for the current month of May, the magazine stated that Algeria “confronted the phenomenon of terrorism firmly and warned the entire world of its destructive and disastrous consequences. Thanks to the rational exploitation of its components, capabilities and the experiences of its people gained during the victorious liberation revolution.

And she continued, “At a time when Algeria has made considerable strides in the path of the desired change, hostile circles are trying to target the security and stability of the homeland through suspicious and malicious public activities of fundamentalists who want in vain to reproduce the same malicious methods that were the cause of the national tragedy during the nineties of the last century, including the dissemination of extremist discourse.” In this regard, stressing that the state “will never tolerate these miserable attempts and will stand against them.”

The editorial also emphasized that “continuing the approach of change and the success of the comprehensive development process requires blocking the way for those who are confused and confronting extremism of all kinds through the perseverance and participation of all actors at different levels, starting with the family and the school.”

The editorial stated that “attempts to promote manifestations of extremism will inevitably fail as long as our proud people have turned the page of the painful past forever and cannot in any way return once again to the years of blood and fire.”

The magazine pointed out that “violent extremism is a dangerous phenomenon that often fuels terrorism, and also undermines peace, security, sustainable development and human rights,” noting that “no country can be immune from its dire effects.”

In this regard, the editorial explained that Algeria “was alone, over the course of a decade, a fierce war against terrorism and confronted a malicious strategy aimed at dismantling the state until it was able to eliminate it thanks to the huge sacrifices made by the People’s National Army and other security forces backed by the people, so our country became a pioneer in the field and an example.” emulated at the continental and international level.”
