Arkab: The need to work on generalizing the conversion of vehicles to gas fuel – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, urged the need to work on generalizing the conversion of vehicles to pure gas fuel, in order to reduce traditional fuel burdens and protect the environment, within the framework of rationalizing energy use while relying on the national product.

The minister and his accompanying delegation started their field visit in the state of Al-Beidh, today, Tuesday, by visiting the center for converting cars into gas fuel, which is located on an area of ​​​​800 square meters, and has a capacity of converting up to 20 vehicles per month.

In the same context, the President and General Manager of Naftal gave a detailed presentation on the storage and distribution of petroleum products in the Wilayat of Al-Beidh.

In this context, the Minister of Energy and Mines stressed the necessity of working to provide all types of petroleum materials, including butane gas, as well as working to provide and circulate propane gas tanks in the state, especially in isolated areas.
