Arab Military Sports Federation: Algeria wins the gold medal in volleyball – Algerian Dialogue

The Algerian military national volleyball team won the gold medal in the third Arab Military Championship of the Arab Military Sports Federation, which was held from December 17 to 24, 2023 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to a statement by the Ministry of National Defense.

This competition, which witnessed the participation of five Arab countries: Algeria, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, and the Sultanate of Oman, was characterized by the high technical level, intense competition, and high sportsmanship among the various participants, through which our national military team demonstrated high technical capabilities in managing the course of the competition. Which enabled him to win all the matches,” according to the same source.

The statement explained that “this excellent result, achieved for the first time in this specialty, is added to the series of achievements achieved in recent years by our national military teams for various sports, which reflect the efforts of the Supreme Command of the People’s National Army in developing military sports.”

The Algerian national military volleyball team arrived on Sunday morning in the homeland, coming from Saudi Arabia, after honoring the national flag of the third Arab Military Championship.
