Another ship loaded with military equipment destined for the Zionist army docks in the Moroccan port of Tangier – Algerian Dialogue

The Makhzen regime continues its “partnership of shame” with the Zionist entity in the crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people, as for the fifth time, a ship loaded with weapons docks in the Tangier Mediterranean port, heading to the Zionist army’s warehouses.

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against the Zionist entity in Morocco (BDS) revealed in a statement entitled “The port of Tangier makes it easier for the Zionist enemy to complete its crime,” that “for the fifth time, it docked in the Tangier Mediterranean port late one night.” Monday, December 2, the ship MAERSK CHICAGO, loaded with military equipment and heading to the Zionist army’s warehouses. This cargo was unloaded on Berth No. 2, which belongs to the same Danish company.”

Currently – the movement adds – “a sixth ship is approaching, the MAERSK KINLOSS, which will arrive at the port of Tangier in the early morning of December 8, 2024, after which it will enter NYSTED MAERSK at 10:00 of the same day to transport what are likely to be shipments of military vehicles and equipment, in addition to dangerous materials to… The hands of the Zionist army.”

The same movement confirmed that “the frequency of Maersk fleet ships at the Tangier Med port and the matching of their pattern of movement with the investigation of the Palestinian Youth Movement, upon which Spain based its decision to prevent the ships of the shipping company in question from docking in its ports, leaves no room for doubt that the Moroccan authorities have opened the door wide.” Through the port of Tangier to meet the occupation army’s need for military equipment and supplies used to exterminate the Palestinian people.”

The boycott movement called on the relevant authorities to stop receiving these extermination ships and prevent them from docking in Moroccan ports, renewing its greetings to the port workers who refused to load the shipments.

It also denounced the abuse that affected the workers of the port of Tangier by Maersk and the port administration, calling on the port workers to stand in solidarity with their comrades and to confront these ships and refrain from unloading and loading them.

At the conclusion of the statement, the same movement urged the free frameworks and all Moroccans to intensify exposure and escalation efforts and express indignation and absolute rejection of Moroccan ports being a means to facilitate the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people.
