The statement said: “In implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune,… Ministry of Foreign Affairs At the level of the General Directorate of Consular Affairs and the National Community Abroad, a set of arrangements and procedures have been taken, with the aim of improving consular services, so that members of the national community abroad can benefit from consular services to the fullest extent.
The statement added, “To achieve this endeavor, the General Directorate of Consular Affairs and the National Community Abroad worked, under the guidance of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, to provide practical instructions and directions that will have a positive impact on the quality of services.”
The source continued, “In this regard, at the level of our diplomatic and consular representations, the utmost importance has been given to the departments supervising the issuance of the passport, by supporting them with human support so that they can carry out their tasks in the best conditions, improving services at the reception level, and extending working hours and days from Monday to Saturday.” And introducing a reception service by setting appointments, in addition to carrying out outings for biometric teams to areas known to have a density of members of the community far from the headquarters of embassies and consulates.”
