The Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, called on the sector’s executives to work to remedy the delay in the industrial sector, which represents 60 percent of the national economy, stressing that the delay was caused by a lack of follow-up and not financial capabilities.

In a speech to him, today, Sunday, on the occasion of Labor Day, Ali Aoun said that during his field visit to the states, he encountered a delay in the industrial sector that requires efforts to rectify it and take quick steps to achieve this, both from his position and position. The Minister of Industry explained that the delay in the industrial sector registered in a number of states is not due to a lack of capabilities, but is due to a lack of follow-up on the part of the guardianship and a lack of strategic vision for the industry that must be carried out.

Ali Aoun, from the Ministry of Industry executives, called on each of his posts to study the program that must be worked on quickly in a number of fields, especially the field of investment, which he said is suffering from a great delay, in addition to the field of human resource development. In the context, the minister warned everyone against careful follow-up and accountability, each according to the role assigned to him.

On the other hand, the Minister of Industry ordered those responsible for human resources to facilitate procedures for workers who are on the verge of retirement and ensure that their files are taken care of in the required manner to enable them to obtain retirement grants upon departure, assuring this category that the doors of the ministry are open in the event of obstacles.
