Skyscanner has ranked Algiers as the second best tourist destination in the world for the year 2024 after the Portuguese city of Faro.
The Skyscanner website described Algiers as an “amazing tourist city,” noting that “its architecture is unique and worth visiting and exploring.”
A report by the aforementioned website stated that Algiers came in second place, ahead of the French cities of Nice, Dalaman and Antalya in Turkey, and Zurich in Switzerland, followed by Boston and Los Angeles in the Americas, Frankfurt in Germany, and New York in tenth place.
