Algerian-Jordanian emphasis on continuing pressure to stop the Zionist aggression – Algerian Dialogue

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, met with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Al-Safadi, yesterday, Thursday, on the sidelines of their participation in the work of the emergency special session of the General Assembly on the Palestinian issue, at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two parties stressed the need to continue political and diplomatic pressure to force the United Nations to fulfill its responsibilities to protect the Palestinian people under occupation, and to put an end to the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip.

They also stressed the inevitability of international efforts leading to reviving the peace process in the Middle East to enable the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
