The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure Facilities, Lakhdar Rakhroukh, received, at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Algeria, Mohammad Reza Babaei, at his request.
During this meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral cooperation relations, as well as prospects for enhancing them to rise to the level of good political relations between the two countries.
On this occasion, the minister called on the Iranian ambassador to continue efforts to develop areas of partnership between the two countries, especially in the field of road, railway and port construction, as he stressed the need to intensify cooperation and explore business opportunities and future prospects.
For his part, the Iranian ambassador expressed his great satisfaction with the relations of cooperation between the companies of the two countries and expressed the interest of Iranian companies to invest in the field of public works and base facilities, as well as to strengthen their presence in Algeria.
