Algeria witnesses the first university entry with zero papers
The Director of Higher Education and Training at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Jamal Bouqzata, confirmed that the new university entry comes in a different context characterized by the university gradually abandoning traditional models to adopt a new vision with the aim of ensuring an effective, wealth-generating role that supports the national economy.
Jamal Boukzata stated, when he appeared as a guest on the “Sabah Guest” program, that the university system has adopted the new curriculum and will begin programming the inaugural lesson under the title “An innovative university in the service of a rising Algeria.”
Guest Al-Sabah stressed that the role given to the university this year is its contribution to the national effort by promoting innovation that generates so-called innovative projects for youth and students at various levels.
Boqzata added that the context of work that characterizes university entry this year is the implementation of a master plan for digitization, which allowed the sector to complete 46 electronic floors for the benefit of the university family, and this is within what is called today the zero-paper policy, which made the sector provide a model in the use of digitization, indicating that the primary goal is This plan aims to provide all comfortable conditions for the student’s success and provide the appropriate atmosphere for the professor to perform his duties.
The spokesman pointed out that we are witnessing the first university entry in the history of the sector with zero paper through the total digitization of all stages of the pedagogical registration process, in addition to inculcating the culture of electronic payment for all levels at the university.
The spokesman explained that this year’s university entry coincides with the largest recruitment process the sector has witnessed since its history, represented by the recruitment of more than 10,000 assistant professors in the B department.
Regarding the strengthening of the network of higher schools, the spokesman said that the technological pole in Sidi Abdullah was strengthened with two new schools in technology and science, as well as a national higher school in the independent systems, in addition to strengthening the system of higher schools for teachers with a higher school for teachers in science and technology in Saida.
The 2023/2024 university season will be opened on Saturday, September 23, in Guelma Province, with an opening lesson delivered by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, under the title “An innovative university in the service of a rising Algeria.”
