Accordingly, 2152 were classified institution universities from 125 countries, including fifty-four (54) Algerian university institutions that have not yet developed compared to the 2023 edition, where twelve (12) Algerian higher education institutions were classified, which allowed Algeria to occupy first place at the African and Arab Maghreb level in terms of the number of classified higher education institutions. .
In the ranking occupied university Oum El Bouaghi ranked first nationally 401-600 at the global level, which highlights the sector’s keenness to improve the position of national higher education institutions in various international classifications and work to develop appropriate mechanisms to upgrade the visibility of these university institutions at the international level.
