Algeria is moving towards the future at a steady pace thanks to the youth
The head of the National People’s Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali, stressed on Thursday the role of Algeria’s growing youth in preserving their homeland and working to develop it.
In a speech read on his behalf by the Vice-President of the National People’s Assembly, Bouchikhi Sheikh, during the Algerian Youth Forum organized by the Supreme Youth Council, which was opened today in Oran, Boughali stressed “the growing role of Algerian youth in preserving their country and working hard and toiling for development.” Social and economic development of Algeria.
The President of the National People’s Assembly pointed out that the ball is now in the youth’s goal, and “we are moving towards the future at a steady pace thanks to these people and the great competencies they possess.” Boughali added: “This conviction is being embodied day after day, especially with the measures taken by the state, led by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to benefit the youth in order to involve this group more and more in social, economic and political development.”
In this regard, he highlighted that about 30 percent of the representatives of the National People’s Assembly are young people, noting that the Supreme Council for Youth was established to be “a framework for youth wealth and promoting the role of youth in society,” and that “in the economic aspect, priority has been given to youth by encouraging them to Establishing small and emerging enterprises, introducing an unemployment grant, and installing thousands of workers in their positions.”
As a reminder, the opening ceremony of this forum, organized under the slogan “Youth is Possible for a Protected Future – We Are All Palestine,” took place in the presence of members of the government, representatives of civil society, the revolutionary family, and local authorities. More than 800 young men and women from various states of the country, including council members and young men from different segments, groups, and regions, participated. And from the national community abroad.
By the way, the Minister of Mujahideen and People of Rights, Eid Rabaika, supervised the honoring of the family of the martyr Ali Mantit, called Farid, who fell on the Field of Honor in 1957 at the age of 16 as a result of his injuries after carrying out a commando operation against the French colonialists in the city of Oran.
