Algeria offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the State of Libya following the tragic torrents and floods.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Algeria expressed its full readiness to stand by the Libyan brothers and provide them with support and assistance to mitigate the impact and consequences of this disaster.
It also stressed its sympathy and solidarity with Libya in facing the effects of this ordeal.
It is noteworthy that at least 150 people were killed in floods that swept eastern Libya as a result of Hurricane Daniel. Thousands were also evacuated.
