Algeria condemns the provocative statements issued by an official of the Zionist entity – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Algeria condemned the provocative statements made by an official of the Zionist entity, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the national community abroad.

The ministry’s statement read: Algeria strongly condemns the provocative statements issued by an official of the Zionist entity who follows the ideology of denial of the right of the Palestinian people to exist and to establish their independent state. It also strongly condemns the same official’s use of an expansionist occupation map that includes the lands of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as the occupied Palestinian lands.
This aggressive behavior, which is added to the series of systematic violations committed by the occupying power against the Palestinian people, their property and sanctities within a very dangerous expansionist scheme, constitutes a flagrant violation of international legitimacy and norms that would push towards escalation and explosive conditions, which directly threatens peace, security and stability in the entire region.
From this standpoint, Algeria calls on the international community, and in particular the United Nations Security Council, to assume its responsibilities to protect the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, and to enforce respect for the borders of this state, as well as the borders of all countries in the region, including the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
