He continued to say that the goal of these endeavors is to raise economic cooperation to the level of “excellent” and “ideal” relations between the two countries.

In the same context, Attaf praised the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for the pivotal role that Angola is currently playing in order to reach lasting peace between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda.
Attaf explained in this regard, saying, “I am in Luanda on the eve of an important event for the Great Lakes region and at an important moment in the process of achieving stability, peace and security led by President João Lourenço in the region through what we hope will be reconciliation and peace between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, and we are lucky.” “It is an honor to be the first to extend our congratulations and encouragement, in the name of President Tebboune, to the sister Republic of Angola on this great event, for which we wish every success.”
Attaf finally concluded by confirming that “Next year, Angola will assume the presidency of the African Union, and the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, refused to assure his brother, President João Lourenço, that he will be by his side and that the success of the Angolan presidency will be a success for Angola, Algeria, and Africa as a whole.”
