Al-Arbawi receives the Director-General of the International Labor Organization – Al-Hiwar Algeria

Prime Minister Nadhir Arbawi received, today, Monday, at the Government Palace, Gilbert Hongbo, Director-General of the International Labor Organization, who is on a working visit to Algeria. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Mr. Faisal bin Talib.

During the meeting, the two parties reviewed the various projects and activities within the framework of bilateral cooperation, as well as the most important files on the agenda of the International Labor Organization, especially the Global Alliance for Social Justice initiative.

Mr. Hongbo expressed his deep thanks to Algeria for its continued support for the International Labor Organization and its endeavors within the framework of promoting social dialogue in the field of labor, praising the decisions of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in order to consolidate the social character of the state and achieve social justice, especially the decisions and measures related to the promotion of wages and pensions and the grant Unemployment and upgrading social protection, in addition to reforms related to the exercise of union rights.
