Air Algerie has announced the opening of nominations for the position of Human Resources Director. The company explained, in its announcement, that one of the main duties of the Human Resources Director is to develop the company’s human resources strategy, develop human resources management, professional and social relations, organize work, and ensure its development in accordance with the strategic axes and development goals of the company.
As well as planning short-, medium- and long-term labor needs, paying attention to skills analysis, ensuring the analysis and implementation of applicable legislative and regulatory texts, and ensuring the company’s salary system is implemented in accordance with the salary schedule.
The same source indicated that the candidate for this position must have Algerian nationality, be under 55 years of age on the date of employment, and hold a university degree (Master’s or its equivalent in one of the humanities, social sciences, or technical disciplines).
In addition to having at least 10 years of experience in the field of human resources and management, proficient in languages and controlling all legislation, as well as holding the position of human resources director for a public or private commercial company of a national character for a period of no less than 5 years, the advertisement adds.
For reference, the President and General Manager of Air Algerie, Hamza Ben Hamouda, made changes, according to which he terminated the duties of a number of executives and appointed others.
During the movement, Ben Hamouda terminated the duties of the Director of the Central Administration, “Secretary-General,” Ait Abdel Malik Sufyan, and appointed Bouzghaya Abdel Aziz as his successor.
The President and Director General of Air Algerie also terminated the duties of Andalusi Mohamed Amin Riad as Director of Communications, official spokesman for Air Algerie, and was assigned to the Acting Directorate of Brand Management.
According to the changes made by Ben Hamouda, Ammair Yassin’s duties as acting head of the commercial department were terminated, and Bejaoui Chaouch Souad was relieved of her duties as director of customer relations and appointed as head of the commercial department.
Ben Hamouda ended the duties of Alali Muhammad Ali as head of the Exploitation Department, and Ben Miloud Reda also completed his duties as director of the Exploitation Monitoring Center.
Shakambo Jamal, pilot of the A330-200, was also appointed as Head of the Operations Department, and Kawah Hassania, Senior Director of the Operations Department, was appointed as Assistant Director of the Operations Department. Dahash Mohammed, Assistant Director of the Programs Directorate, was appointed Director of the Exploitation Monitoring Centre.
Also, Butimaja Sami Al-Karim, Assistant Director at the Exploitation Control Center, was appointed Director of the Revenue Department, and Faidi Fouad was relieved of his duties as Director of the Revenue Department.
