The Executive Committee of the African Union Mechanism for Police Cooperation, AFRIPOL, has agreed to register a proposal for permanent membership of Algeria in the Executive Office of AFRIPOL.
According to the statement of the General Directorate of National Security. The Executive Committee of the African Union Mechanism for Police Cooperation “AFRICOL” agreed to register Algeria’s proposal to obtain permanent membership status in the Executive Office of AFRIPOL.
The source added that “the approval came” within the recommendations of the work of the 11th session, held on May 03 and 04, 2023 in the capital Tunis, provided that it is presented for approval during the work of the General Assembly to be organized in October 2023.
