Abdel Majeed Amour: The republic’s mediation is betting on openness – the Algerian dialogue

The Mediator of the Republic, Abdul Majeed Amor, affirmed that the mediation of the Republic is betting on a strategy based on openness to the citizen, listening to him, and getting close to him, in order to take his concerns into account and promote the principles of good governance.

In his intervention on the sidelines of his visit to the state of Ghardaia, the Mediator of the Republic confirmed that his institution is working to simplify administrative procedures and benefit from public services in various departments with the aim of improving relations between public services and the beneficiaries of its services.

In the same regard, the spokesman said, “Our strategy, which was developed in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, aims to embody the principle of bringing the administration closer to the citizen by focusing on a participatory approach based on better management and in compliance with the applicable laws by simplifying procedures while avoiding bureaucratic obstacles.”

He added, “The mediation of the republic is constantly working to enhance the image of the Algerian administration and its efficiency by improving and modernizing its services.”

The Mediator of the Republic, who was accompanied by the governor of Ghardaia, Abdallah Abi Nouar, was briefed in the rural areas of the district of Mansoura, which is about a hundred kilometers from the headquarters of the province of Ghardaia, on the social and economic conditions of the local population, especially in the field of water supply and ensuring the health of citizens before he went to the agricultural areas, where he gave a signal Connect it to electric power.

Amor recalled the efforts made by the public authorities to mobilize electric power and groundwater resources in order to create appropriate conditions for the development of desert agriculture and the participation of this region in ensuring food security, especially with regard to grain and fodder.

The Mediator of the Republic pointed out that more than 30,000 female agricultural investors have been connected to electric power across the various regions of the country within the framework of the national program to link agricultural investments with this energy.

On the other hand, the Mediator of the Republic visited the grounds of the industrial zone in Wadi Nashu, where works were halted for technical and financial reasons, before calling for the sponsorship of this area.

At the municipal level of Ghardaïa, Mr. Amour was briefed on the completion of several projects of a social nature in order to respond to the aspirations of the citizens of the northern neighborhoods of this wilaya.

The various stations that the delegation visited during the first day of this visit allowed them to meet with citizens who expressed their aspirations in the field of developing their regions.

In this regard, the Mediator of the Republic stated that “what has been achieved embodies the President of the Republic’s fulfillment of his obligations and his adherence to a principle that he continues to devote through his decisions, which is to put the citizen at the center of all concerns.”
