Bayern Munich officials surrendered to public pressure following the series of negative results achieved by the first team recently, under the leadership of coach Thomas Tuchel.
The administration decided to disengage from the German coach, who joined the Bavarian club last March, but at the end of the current season.
Christian Driessen, CEO of Bayern Munich, avoided repeating the same scenario as last season, when he fired Julian Nagelsmann, the current coach of the German national team, before the end of the season.

Nagelsmann left the team in second place in the German League at the time, after losing to Bayer Leverkusen, who returned this time to defeat Bayern Munich again and remain at the top of the overall “Bundesliga” table by eight points.
Bayern, along with Tuchel, suffered three consecutive defeats in eight days, the first against Leverkusen by three clean goals, the second in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Lazio with a goal without a response, and the last against Bochum in the German League by three goals to two.
The team’s misfortunes did not stop there, as it was previously eliminated from the second round of the German Cup, against a little-known club last November, Saar Brocken, active in the German third division championship.
Bayern Munich remains at risk of spending a zero season if it leaves the European competition in light of Bayer Leverkusen’s control of the local league competition, thanks to the skill of its young Spanish coach, Xabi Alonso.
The latter is considered the first candidate, according to the German press, to replace Tuchel starting next season.
Bayer Leverkusen did not lose a single league match this season with Alonso, recording 18 wins and four draws in 22 matches.
It should be noted that Thomas Tuchel won the German League championship with Bayern Munich last season, in the last round, after his direct competitor, Borussia Dortmund, tied at home against Mainz with two goals in each net.
