The Ministry of Health warns of these symptoms and advises
In light of this extreme rise in temperatures, which exceeded 48 degrees under the shade, especially at peak times, the Ministry of Health reminded of the necessary preventive measures in times of high temperatures. Children, the elderly and people with chronic diseases are considered the most vulnerable group to heat.
The Ministry of Health also called for taking precautions, such as closing the external windows and curtains on the facades of the houses that are exposed to the sun. Keep windows closed as long as the temperature outside is higher than inside. Avoid going out during the hottest times. If going out is necessary, let it be early in the morning or late in the evening. In the event that you have to go out, it is recommended to wear light and spacious clothes, stay in the shade away from the sun, and shower several times a day, if possible.
As well as eating a sufficient amount of drinks while avoiding those that contain a large amount of sugar or caffeine. And avoiding external activities (sports, gardening, various simple works…).
The Ministry of Health alerted citizens of the symptoms of headache, the urge to vomit, extreme thirst, and an unusually high skin temperature. With the redness and dryness, my mind was clouded. These symptoms indicate a heatstroke. Therefore, you must act quickly and call an ambulance (emergency medical services, civil protection).
