A scientific symposium on the role of security media in facing geopolitical challenges in Algeria – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

Today, Tuesday, the General Directorate of National Security organized a scientific symposium on “Security Media and its Role in Facing Geopolitical Challenges in Algeria” at the Ali Tounsi Police High School in Algiers, on the eve of the World Press Freedom Day, corresponding to the third of May of each year.
By the way, the Director of the High School of Police, Djamel Younsi, stressed the relentless keenness of the police apparatus in facilitating the noble mission of journalists and achieving all conditions of cooperation and coordination to improve the security media in Algeria.
In his intervention, the director of the National Higher School of Journalism and Information Sciences, Abdel Salam Ben Zaoui, highlighted “the role of security media in facing geopolitical challenges and bets related to the field of communication in Algeria,” stressing the need to “control modern technologies for information and communication and adapt security media messages to the requirements of Algerian society and its peculiarities.
The symposium also included an intervention by the Director General of the Algerian Radio, Mohamed Baghali, who touched on the importance of the media message in achieving public service, calling on national media institutions to “accompany the endeavors of the higher authorities aimed at unifying and creating media content that advances public service.”
For his part, the representative of the General Directorate of National Security, First Brigadier General of Police, Bashir Saeed, highlighted “the efforts of the national security interests in combating crimes related to information and communication technologies,” considering that “strengthening coordination with various partners as well as regional and international bodies is the way to confront cybercrime.”
At the end of the symposium, an honorary pause was dedicated to the late Abdul Ali Razaki, as a tribute to his professional path in the media and university milieu.
