President of the Algerian Football Federation, Walid Sadi, signed, on Tuesday, a partnership and sponsorship contract with representatives of the leading Chinese car brand, “Chery,” according to what the football body confirmed on its website.
The exclusive agent of the Chinese company in Algeria, represented by Auto Leader Company, under the leadership of its General Manager, Ayman Boucheret, will undertake the implementation of all the terms of the association, which will extend until 2027.
The President of the Algerian Football Federation, Walid Sadi, commented on this partnership by saying: “This form of cooperation embodies the Federation’s openness to all fruitful partnership opportunities that would contribute to achieving the goals set forth in the work plan of the Federal Office, especially creating the conditions and factors necessary to develop football in Our country and support sports facilities in training.”
For his part, the new partner of FAF described reaching a sponsorship agreement with the largest sports federations in Algeria as a strategic step, as he published on his official page on the social media platform “Facebook.”
The exclusive distributor of the Chery car brand confirmed that it seeks, through a similar partnership, to contribute to the development of local football.
Walid Sadi aims to implement a plan to revive the union’s financial revenues since he assumed the position of president last September.
The same official succeeded in signing a partnership agreement with one of the largest public institutions two months ago, whereby the Algerian Ports Management Complex “Sirport” became one of the most prominent sponsors of the Algerian Football Federation in the next three years.
It should be noted that the same public institution owns 94 percent of the shares of Ittihad Al-Capital Club, and this has been since 2020.
The capital team, along with it, was able to achieve two continental titles last season, the first was the African Confederation Cup, and the second was the African Super Cup.
