According to an alert from the same interests, some states will witness a heat wave with record temperatures ranging between 39 and 41 degrees locally. All day today, Saturday, and it may exceed 43 degrees tomorrow, Sunday.
The states concerned are: Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba and El Tarf.
A meteorological department bulletin also reported that locally significant thunderstorms fell during the day today in several areas of the country.
According to the same source, the states concerned with rainfall are Algeria, Souk Ahras, Tipaza, and Beni Abbes. In addition to Oum El Bouaghi, Tebessa, Guelma, Tindouf, Tlemcen, Constantine, El Bayadh, Naama, Blida and Bechar.
