A delegation from the National Assembly is received by the Sahrawi President in the Algerian refugee camps – Al-Hiwar

A delegation from the National Assembly participating in the activities of the second edition of the Arab Symposium for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People was received in the Sahrawi refugee camps by the President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, according to a statement by the upper chamber of Parliament.

The parliamentary delegation to the National Assembly consists of members Ghazi Jabri, Lyas Ashour, Ahmed Chito, Salih Raqiq and Youssef Reda Bin Hadiya.

Participants in this symposium, which began on Wednesday, and held within the framework of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguia al-Hamra and the Valley of Gold (Polisario) and the outbreak of the armed struggle, will discuss “Sahrawi diplomacy in the Arab world” as well as “human rights in Western Sahara and Arab human rights organizations.” .

The National Assembly statement stated that the participants will seek to “renew the expression of their solidarity with the brotherly Sahrawi people in their struggle against Moroccan colonialism, in addition to working to empower them with their legitimate and imprescriptible right to self-determination in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy.”
