A cooperation agreement to develop professional qualifications and enhance the competencies of employees in the health sector – Algerian Dialogue

Within the framework of implementing the cooperation and partnership agreement between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education concluded between the interests of the two ministerial departments on October 25, 2022, which aims to develop professional qualifications and enhance the competencies of employees in the health sector, through a work program implemented at the local level.

The departments of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education have begun embodying the provisions of this agreement by signing a joint ministerial instruction that specifies the practical methods for implementing the content of the above-mentioned agreement, and requires joint work between the institutions affiliated with the vocational training and education sector, as well as the institutions and bodies affiliated with the health sector.

And designing and formulating training programs, with the participation of the interests of both sectors, by specialists and professors in the proposed training professions, which will be approved during the training courses scheduled to be launched during this month in the fields of hospital cleaning and health preservation techniques, maintenance of biomedical equipment, hospital cooking and feeding, reception in the health institution, Administrative Secretariat, exploitation of office programs,

More than 19,000 professional, technical and administrative employees affiliated with the health sector will benefit from these training courses, which will last until the end of the current year and will be renewed automatically at the beginning of the new year 2024.

The necessary financial allocations were also allocated to cover the costs resulting from implementing the terms of the agreement.
