The Muslim World League organizes a conference: “Building Bridges Between Islamic Sects” in Mecca

The Muslim World League is organizing the International Conference: “Building Bridges Between Islamic Sects” in Mecca, with the participation of a number of prominent Islamic figures, including muftis and senior scholars from various Islamic sects, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The conference aims to enhance understanding and cooperation between Islamic sects through their fraternal scientific meeting with its dialogue contents aimed at strengthening the relationship between them to serve common goals, especially with regard to major issues that require unity of legitimate opinion and are not compatible with sectarian difference and diaspora. The conference is also concerned with confronting the discourses, slogans and practices of sectarian extremism that He sought to incite conflict and sectarian clash, which harmed the values ​​of Islamic brotherhood, in addition to harming the reputation of Islam and Muslims, while emphasizing in all of this the sectarian privacy and not violating it under any pretext, as well as rejecting any method of insulting or contempt of Islamic doctrines, but rather dealing with everyone. The high name of Islam, including the clarification of the truth with its evidence, with good thoughts among the brothers of the same religion, in addition to setting a road map that leads everyone towards greater Islamic awareness, through the “document on building bridges between Islamic sects” that the conferees intend to issue as a result of their conference dialogue, which It is full of a number of scientific topics, in which an elite group of senior muftis and scholars of the Islamic world speaks.
The conference comes as the Muslim World League is aware of its important and major role in bringing together the word of the scholars of the Islamic nation, and enhancing trust and cooperation between their sects in accordance with Islamic values ​​regulated by their document, which is expected to be issued at the conclusion of the conference’s work.
