The President of the Republic receives directors and officials of some national media outlets – Al-Hiwar Algeria

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received the directors and officials of some national media outlets, where he listened to the professional and social concerns of the media family, noting the prominent role played by the press in defending the national interest, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic.

The statement said: “Today, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received the directors and officials of some national media outlets, where he listened to the professional and social concerns of the media family, noting the prominent role played by the press in defending the national interest.”

The meeting constituted “an opportunity through which Mr. President was informed of the proposals of journalism professionals to improve its performance in order to effectively contribute to the national efforts being made in all fields and sectors.”

The meeting also discussed in depth “various national issues directly related to citizens’ concerns, including regional and international issues,” according to the same statement.
