The meteorological services warned in a special bulletin of the continuation of the heat wave across several states in the north of the country.
A special publication from the second level indicated that temperatures are expected to reach 46 degrees Celsius under shade in the wilayats of Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbas, Saida, Mascara, Relizane, Chlef, Ain Defla, Medea, Blida, Bouira, Tizi Ouzou, Msila, Constantine, Mila and Guelma.
It will range between 40 and 44 degrees Celsius under shade in Ain Timouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba and El Tarf.
The same interests also warned, in a second alert from the first level, of a severe heat wave also in Tebessa, Souk Ahras, Oum El Bouaghi, Khenchela, Batna, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Biskra, El Mughair, Ouled Jalal, Djelfa, Tiaret and Tissemsilt.
