And caused the besieging of some houses that were flooded with water, as the civil protection teams intervened in the Umm al-Dud roundabout in the municipality of Bir al-Dahab with the aim of absorbing rain water from three rural houses, as well as absorbing water from 7 animal pens.

Despite all this, the farmers were optimistic about the amounts of rain falling, which gave them hope, after some water sources exploded and the waters of some reefs and valleys returned to flowing again after months of drought, which would help them plant various seeds with The beginning of the current agricultural season, after the fear of drought that afflicted farmers during the past few months due to the scarcity of the sky.

The Minister of Irrigation, Taha Darbal, revealed that the national rate of dam filling is currently estimated at 29 percent, after it was nearly 32 percent last December. He attributed this to “the lack of rainfall in recent years, not just this year.”

The rain continues to fall across the various states of the country, and weather forecasts have warned of continued rain and the formation of torrents.
