Important meetings of the team, the first Shangriha in Brazil – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

The Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, participated, on the second day of his visit to Brazil, in the opening ceremony of the 13th edition of the Defense and Security Exhibition (LAAD-2023) in Rio de Janeiro.

A statement by the Ministry of National Defense stated, today, Wednesday, that Lieutenant General Al-Said Shangriha held talks, on the sidelines of the opening ceremony, with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, regarding ways to enhance cooperation in the military and security fields.

Lieutenant General Al-Said Chanegriha had many meetings with a number of officials of the Indian companies participating in this exhibition, while he held a working session with those in charge of the Brazilian aircraft manufacturing company “Umbraer”.

Lieutenant General Al-Said Chanegriha toured some pavilions of the exhibition (2023-LAAD) in order to see the latest technology in the arms industry and various military industries.

For reference, the exhibition is the largest in Latin America in the field of military industries and defense systems, with the participation of more than 80 countries and more than 340 companies specialized in the production of weapons.
