Lieutenant General Saeed Chengriha supervises honoring the heroes of the military sports delegation participating in the second edition of the African Military Games – Algerian Dialogue

The honoring ceremony was organized following the very honorable participation of the Algerian military sports delegation in the activities of the second edition of the African Military Games, where our military delegation ranked second, out of (22) participating countries.

During the honoring ceremony, Lieutenant General, in his speech to the audience, was keen to convey the congratulations of the President of the Republic, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the Minister of National Defense, and to offer his sincere personal congratulations to the members of the military sports delegation:

“Following your triumphant return from Abuja and your honorable participation in the African Military Games, I am very pleased to receive you today, at this symbolic ceremony, to convey to you my warm congratulations to the President of the Republic, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the Minister of National Defense.

I also extend to you, in my own name, and on behalf of all the employees of the People’s National Army, my sincere congratulations and blessings, for your distinguished participation, and for your return crowned with results that honored your army and your country, and found all appreciation and gratitude among our proud people in all parts of the country.

You have well-deservedly won second place in the overall standings, out of 22 participating countries. These are qualitative and positive results, especially since they were achieved against experienced African military teams with long experience in such competitions.

You were truly the best representative and ambassador of Algerian military sports, and you succeeded in leaving imprints engraved on the pages of the history of these African military games, results that are completely consistent with the message of peace and friendship, embodied in the slogan of these games, and certainly in line with the loftiness of our noble national values.”

The Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense confirmed that the Supreme Command pays great attention to military sports, and urged athletes to love their country and be completely loyal to it, because that is the surest guarantee of achieving victory at all levels:

“You also highlighted, with these distinguished results, the great strides made by military sports in Algeria, in various fields and specializations, thanks to the continuous care and unlimited support, which the Supreme Command of the People’s National Army has always provided to the sports and physical preparation sector in the People’s National Army.

I do not miss this generous opportunity without expressing my sincere thanks and great gratitude to the supervisors, technical crews and coaches, who gave the slogan of patriotism all its meanings, through their insistence on success, thus confirming that the military sports leaders who carry Algeria in their hearts will not hesitate to deliver. Achieving victory at all levels.

The sure motive to seize victory and achieve victory is always linked to love of the country, loyalty to it, and devotion to it. This is the sense of national duty, and even the sense of responsibility, which we always work to establish in the minds of the employees of the People’s National Army, the descendant of the National Liberation Army, in all their categories and ranks.”

After that, the Lieutenant General supervised the honoring of the members of the national military teams, so that at the end of this ceremony, a group photo was taken in commemoration of the event.
