34 people were killed today, Wednesday, and 12 others were injured, in a terrible traffic accident after a commercial vehicle collided with a passenger bus in Tamanrasset.
According to a statement from the Civil Protection, its units intervened at 4:15 to aid the victims of the accident, which resulted in the death of 34 people and the injury of 12 others so far.
The same interests explained that the accident, which occurred at the level of the village of Otole on the national road No. 1, was a collision followed by a fire between a commercial vehicle and a passenger bus operating on the line linking Adrar and Tamanrasset
The civil protection services indicated that the process of recovering and transporting the victims is still continuing on the spot.
