33 people were arrested as a result of the actions of the people after the match between USM El Harrach and Chabab Batna – New Algeria

The Algerian Judicial Council announced that both the Casablanca and Al-Harrach courts had opened a preliminary investigation into the riots during the match between USM Al-Harrach and Chabab Aures Batna on 05/05/2024 at the November 1 stadium in Mohammedia, while 25 adult suspects and 08 minors were arrested.
According to a statement by the Algerian Judicial Council, the riots led to the destruction of public property and movable property, resulting in significant material damage.
According to a statement to the Council, 25 adult suspects and 08 minors were arrested. The suspects were presented before the Republic’s Public Prosecution Office, and the adult defendants were prosecuted under immediate appearance procedures for misdemeanors of disobedience, intentional sabotage of another’s property, and unarmed gathering.
The same statement stated that the court issued orders to place them in temporary detention pending their trial, with the minor defendants referred to the competent juvenile judge.
